and why is it that teams like the Bruins all want to jump the guy when he makes a clean hit? I'm seeing it all over the NHL and it needs to stop. Quit pussyfying my game dammit.
I'm with you guys. That was as clean a hit as you're going to see. During the post-game studio wrap up, Barry Pederson said the same thing; that all of a sudden, a clean hit means retaliation and that the league needs to step in.
Listen, I hate to see one of my players get walloped and I really like Marchand, but Subban laid out a text book open ice hit. Good for him. If you're the Bruins, you take a number and hope to lay an equally huge hit on Subban or whoever.
Now, can we talk about Krejci's opening up of Cammalleri's face?
As for what Casey said, agreed, the players should have engraved subban's number into their mind and get him back either by laying another big hit, or showing it on the scoresheet.
WOW !! WHAT A FRIKIN HIT!!
ReplyDeleteya, agreed if the hits clean, don't be jumping on the guy for god's sake...

Next they'll start calling that a racially motivated hate crime.
