Don't get me wrong, I would NEVER want to live in a hockey market like this compared to what I have with the Bruins here in New England. That being said, there is a part of me that is jealous that in some cities you can go see an NHL game dirt cheap (and probably get the tickets at the box office same day). For me to see the B's, even halfway decent seats, parking, etc you're talking couple hundred bucks at least. I get the feeling that in Carolina or Florida you could probably go to 10 games for that price. Definitely not a good thing for the league though...
Wow is right. I live in Toronto and I could never dream of seeing the ACC looking like that (although that is what the arena looks like two minutes into the second and third period as all the corporate guys with company tickets mosey on back to their seats). I wonder how much tickets cost - it might be worth it to drive down, rent a hotel room and catch a game.
